Grant me the ability to be alone; May it be my custom to go outdoors each day among the trees and grasses, among all growing things, and there may I be alone, and enter into prayer to talk with the one that I belong to.

Reflection Center
A small cottage, with a beautiful view of the Hudson River, set aside for prayer, reading and reflection. Carpeted, empty of furniture, but with pillows on the floor. Accommodates up to 15 people. (no children)
Outdoor Chapel
Chapel is open from April – October. A beautiful place for the celebration of the Eucharist, private prayer, and/or other devotions, the chapel seats 8-10 inside (pews) and 50 people outside on benches.
St. Gabriel’s Reading Room
Charming white cottage, with easy chair, sofa, tables and chairs. Can be used by individuals or groups (max 5-6) for reading/reflection or casual meetings. Bathroom.
Library
A primarily Catholic/Christian collection available for the use of guests.
Stations of the Cross
Simple, beautiful Stations of the Cross arrayed along an outside path for those wishing to make this prayerful, meditative journey.
Labyrinth
An outdoor labyrinth, located in a tranquil area of lawn. Walking at one’s own pace and manner, a labyrinth is a help to meditation, prayer and reflection.
Della Robia
An outdoor shrine to our Blessed Mother, wonderful for praying the rosary, meditating, reflecting, or simply sitting with the holy.
Peace Pole Garden
Located beside the Reflection Center, the garden draws one’s thoughts and prayers to peace.
Grounds
35 acres of rolling lawns dotted with beautiful shade trees. Wooded area with Meditation Trail. Grounds abut Hook Mountain and have a view of the Hudson River.
